Corporate law

The corporate law is the special private law of the company . It regulates the legal status of the company and includes areas of law such as company and corporate law.

There is no uniform codification of company law in Switzerland, Austria or Germany. In Austria, however, the commercial code (HGB) adopted by Germany in 1939 was converted into a company code (UGB).

Germany

In Germany, corporate law is viewed as a cross-sectional matter of commercial , labor , tax , group , antitrust and competition law.

Austria

In Austria company law is mainly regulated by the company code.

Switzerland

In Switzerland, corporate law is largely based on the civil code of obligations .
