Uppland Regiment
The Uppland Regiment ( Swedish : Upplands regemente ), also known as I 8 , was an infantry regiment of the Swedish army that had its origin in the 16th century. It was dissolved in 1957. The soldiers of the regiment were originally recruited from the Uppland province via the division plant and were stationed there.
