from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Urjupinsker porpoises are Russian Tümmlertauben , with Astrakhan porpoises and Wolgatümmlern are related closely. In contrast to these, the Urjupinsk pigeons are larger and always have a white back. The irises of the eyes are yellowish.

In his “Handbook of Pigeon Breeds”, Joachim Schütte describes not only the Urjupinsker bottlenose dolphin but also a Belatschten Urjupinsk bottlenose dolphin : a pure exhibition pigeon that is not used for flight . Both breeds are also called "Jurupinsker" and were exhibited under this name in 1982 in Nuremberg.
