Vahe
Vahe Haykazuni († October 1, 331 BC ), King of Armenia . According to Moses von Choren , he fought for Darius III. against Alexander the Great and fell at Gaugamela (near today's Mosul ).
While his ally Darius, King of Persia , for whom he fought, left the battlefield, Vahe fought to the end and went down in history as a real warrior and real king. That was the end of the rule of the Haykazuni dynasty.
After that, Armenia was under Macedonian rule for ten years.
