Vandalism button

As vandal resistant switch in which it is electrical , a button called, the opposite because of its design, the materials used and its stable design vandalism is protected.

Such a button is resistant to:

  • intense heat (fire)
  • Tear out
  • mechanical use of force (kicks, blows)
  • manipulation

Executions

The buttons are available in illuminated and non-illuminated versions. In the illuminated version, a ring that shines in different colors can usually be seen around the touch point, which makes it possible to recognize the button even in the dark.

use

Vandalism buttons are often used in social housing instead of normal bell buttons. The push-button, as normal button also, usually for low voltages up to 48  V designed.

Trivia

Due to their flat and small design, vandalism buttons are used in case modding to switch various functions of the PC on or off. As a rule, the illuminated version is then used.
