Vanessa Hessler
Vanessa Hessler (born January 21, 1988 in Rome ) is an Italian model and actress .
Life
Hessler is the child of the Italian Gabriella and the American John Hessler. She lived in Rome with her four brothers until she was eight and then moved to Washington, DC , her father's birthplace.
In October 2011 Vanessa Hessler stated in an interview that she had been in a relationship with Mutassim Gaddafi , one of the sons of the Libyan head of state Muammar al-Gaddafi , for four years ; she referred to the Gaddafi family as "normal people". Telefónica Germany , the owner of the Alice brand , for which Hessler had long been the figurehead in a large-scale advertising campaign, distanced itself from the statements made in this context about the former Gaddafi regime and terminated the cooperation with her with immediate effect.
She is married to Gianni Nunnari . They have a daughter together.
Career
In 2002 she returned to Italy as a model. In Germany , Hessler became known in 2004 as the actress of the advertising character Alice in an advertising campaign for the Internet service provider HanseNet . She worked as a model for the designers Calvin Klein and Giorgio Armani and worked with Claudia Schiffer , Meg Ryan and Fiona May , among others . In the Italian film Natale a Miami (2005) and in Asterix at the Olympic Games (2008) she was seen as an actress. At the Sanremo Festival 2006 she moderated. In 2011 she played Aurora de Luca in the two- parter Cinderella - A Love Tale in Rome . As Sherazade, she appeared in the two- parter Le mille e una notte - Aladino e Sherazade in 2012 .
