Vasa syndrome

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In management and marketing circles, Vasa syndrome is a communication problem that leads to the failure of an entire project. The term is based on the story of the Swedish warship Vasa , which sank on its maiden voyage in 1628 because it was too unstable. The instability is attributed to massive communication problems between the client, the Swedish King Gustav II Adolf of Sweden and the shipbuilder Henrik Hybertsson.
