Vasilije Mokranjac
Vasilije Mokranjac ( Serbian - Cyrillic Василије Мокрањац ; born September 11, 1923 in Belgrade ; † May 27, 1984 ibid) was a Yugoslav composer.
Life
Mokranjac was a student of Stanojlo Rajičić at the Belgrade Music Academy . From 1956 he worked there as a professor of composition.
In addition to five symphonies , three overtures and several concert works, he composed chamber music , piano pieces as well as film and theater music.
