Connector (technology)
A connector is in craft and technology a perforated sheet metal , the means of anchoring nails connecting beams. There are a number of sub-forms such as those listed below as examples.
Flat connector
For straight connections there are flat connectors as perforated plates , panicle or perforated tape .
Angled connector
Special forms for use as roof trusses are joist hangers and rafter purlin anchors.
