Darkened nobility

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

One speaks of darkened nobility when the nobility of a family has ceased to exist after more than two generations. It could happen that he was forgotten. When the original nobility became known, he could legally be accepted again, although in fact a confirmation was generally issued by the nobility authorities.
