Association of qualified legal administrators in Austria

The Association of Qualified Legal Administrators in Austria - VDRÖ is an association registered in the central register of associations. The VDRÖ is politically independent and aims to preserve and promote the reputation of the legal clerk's profession , supports the development of the modern administration of justice and promotes the exchange of professional experiences of the individual branches of the Austrian legal administration as well as the exchange and contact with legal clerks or similar professional groups from other countries.

The Association of Diplomrechtspfleger of Austria is the professional representation of interests of the Austrian Rechtspfleger.

tasks and activities

The purpose of the VDRÖ is to include lectures, assemblies, the issuing of all kinds of publications, the establishment of an archive of decisions on legal remedies, the establishment and operation of a website, the holding of study trips, the writing of statements on amendments to the law, and participation in working groups for the further development of the administration of justice in Austria and Europe as well as the organization and organization of seminars.

The interest group now has more than 4,000 appeals decisions that can be accessed online (OGH, OLG, LG). Membership is chargeable.

The association is a full member of the European Union of Rechtspfleger, has its seat in Vienna and extends its activities to the entire federal territory of Austria.

President Walter Szöky chairs the meeting. Vice-President is Wolfgang Benigni. The secretary is Monika Hofbauer. The term of office of the Executive Board is four years and ends on April 4, 2018. All full members are entitled to vote.

In 2013 a digital edition of the Diplomrechtspfleger brochure with the title “Der Diplomrechtspfleger. The unknown being ”published. This brochure describes the profession and works through the historical facts up to the creation. The current areas of work are treated as well as information on the Rechtspfleger Association.

At the staff representation level, the VDRÖ works together with the central committee and the individual technical committees at the higher regional courts, which are responsible for staff representation.
