Insured status

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The insurance status in Germany is a visible mark on the force until the end of 2014 health insurance card and is in the new electronic health card invisible. There is a similar classification in Austria, but this is not on the e-card .

Since October 1, 2014, a sequence of 1 to 3 digits has been specified in the status field for printing health insurance forms, which characterize the insurance status, the special social status and the DMP membership.

On some German cards (only KVK) there is a block of 3 with information on the risk structure compensation (RSA). The so-called insurance status supplement finalizes the information. The specification has the following structure:

.---------  Versichertenstatus
| .-------  Stichprobenzuordnung
| |..-----  Geburtsjahr
| ||| .---  Versichertenstatus-Ergänzung
| --- |

1     9
3 000 1
