Villa Romana di San Biagio

The Villa Romana di San Biagio is a Roman villa on the island of Sicily . It is located in the district of San Biagio in the municipality of Terme Vigliatore in the metropolitan city of Messina .

The villa was built in the 2nd century on the remains of an earlier villa. The villa is built around a peristyle with eight columns on each side. The wall and floor constructions for heating the thermal baths are particularly well preserved .
