Villa Rothschild (Pforzheim)

The Villa Rothschild is a listed Art Nouveau - Villa in Hachelallee 88 in Pforzheim . The villa was designed and built in 1924 by the Mainz architect A. Reinheimer as the country house of the Jewish jewelery and ring manufacturer Emil Rothschild from Pforzheim. As far as this can be traced, Emil Rothschild fled to Brazil with his wife in 1939 . He died there on August 2, 1943.

The building is located on Hachelallee (formerly Panoramaallee). It is the last remaining villa before the transition to the “Wilferdinger Höhe” industrial park and is located on a corner plot of approx. 900 m².

Special features of the building

The villa consists of three floors and impresses with the open staircase, the high ceilings with stucco and the striking gable roof with transverse structure.

Todays use

The villa is used as a law firm and private residence.
