Viscount Devonport

Viscount Devonport , of Wittington in the County of Buckingham, is a hereditary British title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom .

The Viscount family residence is Ray Demesne near Kirkwhelpington in Northumberland .

History of the title

The title was a Letters Patent of 22 June 1917 the politicians of the Liberal Party and former lower house deputies Hudson Ewbanke Kearley, 1st Baron Devonport created.

Kearley had already on July 22, 1908 to the Baronet , of Wittingham in the County of Buckingham, and on July 15, 1910 to the Baron Devonport , of Wittington in the County of Buckingham, was raised, whereby he was a member of the House of Lords .

Probable title heir ( Heir Presumptive ) is the cousin of the current Viscount, David Hudson Kearley (* 1982).
