Vivaldo Nascimento Barreto (born March 14, 1980 ) is a former Brazilian soccer player who played during his career in Germany for FC St. Pauli , Eintracht Frankfurt , Rot-Weiss Essen and SV Wilhelmshaven .

Career

Nascimento came from Prudentópolis Esporte Clube to the then second-class FC St. Pauli at the beginning of 2003 . In his first half series in Germany he was used in 14 games, but could not prevent the relegation of his club. For St. Pauli, he therefore played in the Regionalliga Nord the following season , before moving to the first division club Eintracht Frankfurt in January 2004. There he only made two Bundesliga appearances as a substitute and moved on to the second division Rot-Weiss Essen after just six months. There he scored his only goal in German professional football on November 28, 2004 in a 3-2 defeat against SpVgg Greuther Fürth . After a year in Essen, he moved back to FC St. Pauli, but only made one appearance there in the entire 2005/06 season. In 2007 Nascimento again completed two games in the Regionalliga Nord for SV Wilhelmshaven.
