People's Cross

The People's Cross is only in Italian heraldry used. In a red circle lies a common silver cross as a herald image . In Italian it is called cruce di populi . It has been known since the 15th century as a sign of the nobles who participated in various battles. In the 16th century it was a sign of the People's Party , popularita called. It was so important for the coat of arms bearers that it was mainly shown in the first field on a coat of arms shield . The Italian Archi family carried the coat of arms.
