Preheating referred

  • the preheating of the diesel engine, see: preheating system
  • Colloquially for drinking alcohol before going to a nightclub or party. On the one hand to save costs and on the other hand to get in the mood for the upcoming celebration in small groups. Widespread especially among teenagers and young adults.
  • the permanent preheating of a light bulb in lighting technology so that it reacts faster and lights up. (English Pre Heat )
