Währing (unit)
The Währing was an Austrian measure of volume and was only used for pottery clay . The measure was the basis of calculation for quantity and price. The clay from the Pöchlarn region was used, among other products, as bricks in blast furnaces.
- 1 Währing = 480 cubic feet (Wiener = 0.031585 cubic meters ) ≈ 15.16 cubic meters
