World Sturgeon Conservation Society

The World Sturgeon Conservation Society (WSCS) is an international association of scientists whose goal is the protection and recovery of the world's sturgeon populations.

To this end, it promotes sturgeon research and organizes workshops and conferences. It also promotes the exchange of information about sturgeon between scientists and politicians and aims to inform the public.

The WSCS was founded in 2003 in Neu Wulmstorf , where it is also based. The company's president is Harald Rosenthal , and its vice-president is Paolo Bronzi .
