Waʾil
The Wa'il ( Arabic وائل, DMG Wāʾil ) were an Arab tribe of Yathribs (Medina) in the time of Muhammad . They belonged to the tribal group of the Banu Aus , who joined in the homage to Aqaba Mohammed and thus made his hijra possible. According to Ibn Ishaq , they, who were among the al-Ansar , the helpers, marched in the trench battle against their former allies and members of the tribe in Medina.
