Walsh code

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Walsh code is a mathematical term used to encode channels in various communication technologies . Walsh codes are orthogonal codes . If several signals are encrypted and overlaid with different Walsh codes, a specific signal can be recovered by correlating with the corresponding code. This is used, for example, in the code division multiplexing method in mobile communication (see spreading codes ).

The Walsh codes can be calculated with the help of Walsh functions .
