Coat of arms of the Republic of Tatarstan

The coat of arms of the Republic of Tatarstan ( Tatar Ак Барс , transcribed Aq Bars or Ak Bars ; in German white Irbis ) is a state symbol of Tatarstan and since February 7, 1992 the official coat of arms of the autonomous republic.
The coat of arms is in the national colors of Tatarstan - red, green and white. The central element of the coat of arms is a winged white Irbis , with a raised right front paw, on a cadmium-red solar disk . The Irbis carries a shield with an aster rosette , which consists of eight petals. The sun disk is surrounded by a white border, followed by a gold-colored Tatar folk ornament on a cobalt green background. On the lower part of the ornament is the inscription Tatarstan .
The current coat of arms was created by Nasym Gabdrachmanowitsch Chansafarow and Rif zagri ulı Fäxretdinev.
