Washington National Opera
The Washington National Opera (WNO) is an opera house in Washington, DC , in the United States of America .
The first as Washington Opera designated institution received by the US Congress the current official name of the Washington National Opera in 2000. The company is in the building John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts housed in which also the National Symphony Orchestra is based Has.
The Spanish tenor and conductor Placido Domingo has been the musical director (CEO) of the house since 1996.
