Rheinfelden hydropower plant

There are two hydropower plants in the Rhine between the two cities opposite Rheinfelden AG in Switzerland and Rheinfelden in Germany :

• Old Rheinfelden hydropower plant , built 1894–1898, demolished in 2011
• New hydropower plant Rheinfelden , built 2003–2010

There is also a high risk of confusion with the Rheinsfelden power plant , a local name for the Eglisau-Glattfelden power plant .
