The 1959 Water Law Act is the Austrian federal law regulating water law . It was published on October 16, 1959 with the 215th announcement in 1959 in the Federal Law Gazette and came into force on November 1, 1959. When it came into force, all previously applicable water law regulations ceased to apply in accordance with Section 139 WRG.
