The Hilsbach water tower is still an integral part of the formerly independent town of Hilsbach and shapes the townscape with its rustic appearance.

history

The Hilsbach water tower was built from 1927 and completed in 1929. The tower is 21 m high and decorated with ceramics in the base area and around the windows of the spire. Today the water tower serves as an apartment.

The owner of said living space wanted to open a café at this point some time ago. However, this failed because of the parking facilities on the already narrow Wachthausgasse, on which the entrance to the tower is located.
