Webcuts Internet Film Fest Berlin is an international festival for films that have been specially produced for the Internet or were mainly published on the Internet.

Webcuts was founded in 2001 in Berlin by Eckhard M. Jäger (alias Bart), art director at area42 - Agentur & Systempartner. Webcuts is a non-commercial platform in which films and filmmakers are brought out of the anonymity of the Internet onto a big screen in order to make them accessible to a broad audience.

The "Webcuts 04 + 05" took place on October 6, 2005 and was followed by around 400 people on site and 400 people via live stream . Webcuts.06 awarded the best Internet short films on October 12, 2006 in Berlin. With “Video 3000” the winner came from Germany for the first time and delighted the jury and the audience alike.
