An elementary component of a web experiment is a Remote Controlled Laboratory ( RCL ), which provides the necessary hardware and software . In addition to the RCL , auxiliary files and programs are required, such as background information on the experiment, database software for recording the test results, and access data to prevent the test sequence from being overlapped by several users.
