The company Weippert is a manufacturer of caravans in the luxury segment based in Kerken .
history
The main buyers of the caravans are showmen, circus artists and traveling traders who live in their caravans for a large proportion of the year. The company had had the problem since the early 1990s that every camper recognized the quality of the brand, but only a small part of the market was willing to pay the price for this quality. The only exception to this is the group of showmen, as they use their caravans for at least 9 months a year and that for a period of more than 15 years every day. Attempts e.g. B. through the participation of a majority shareholder to bring the company back into calm economic waters have failed for many reasons. In this respect, the company initially ceased operations at the end of 2005. Since March 2006, the Weippert family has gradually re-established the brand on the market. In spring 2008 the new Isabella 790/990 series was presented. The first vehicles were delivered in autumn 2008.
Weippert also builds special versions according to the wishes of the buyer.
