World Congress of Azerbaijanis

The World Congress of Azerbaijanis (English: "Congress of World Azerbaijanis", aserb .: Dünya Azərbaycanlı Birliyi) is a series of conferences that takes place every five years.

I. World Congress of Azerbaijanis

The First World Congress of Azerbaijanis took place on 9. – 10. November 2001 in Baku .

II World Congress of Azerbaijanis

The Second World Congress of Azerbaijanis took place on March 16, 2006 in Baku. It was already under the auspices of the current President Ilham Aliyev .

III. World Congress of Azerbaijanis

The Third World Congress of Azerbaijanis took place on July 5th and 6th, 2011 in Baku.

President Ilham Aliyev opened the congress with a keynote speech.

1272 delegates from 42 countries attended the congress.

IV. World Congress of Azerbaijanis

The Fourth World Congress of Azerbaijanis took place on June 3rd and 4th, 2016 in Baku.

Participants from 49 countries took part in the congress.
