Turning table

A turning table or pile turner is used in the printing industry. The sheets printed on one side and placed on a pallet are turned over with a turning table. The pallet can then be driven into the printing machine for perfecting .

The turntable replaces the physically strenuous work of turning the sheets between the two separate printing processes with automation. Modern printing machines (perfecting presses) can print on both sides in a single operation.
