The West Derby Village Cross

The West Derby Village Cross is a hallway Cross in Liverpool , England. It was designed by Eden Nesfield in the French neo-Gothic style and built or expanded between 1861 and 1870. The cross is decorated with depictions of the seated Jesus, the hand of God, Adam and Eve and the crucifixion above a round stone column and four marble columns. The cross itself rests on a three-tier stone block and is surrounded by a wrought-iron fence. It is a Grade II * building under monument protection and has been listed in the monument lists as a "Monument in West Derby Village" since 2015 .
