The Westfalen Culinarium is a complex of four museums in Nieheim , Höxter district . These include the German Cheese Museum , the Westphalian Bread Museum , the Westphalian Ham Museum and the Westphalian Beer Museum .

The four museums and the museum shop opened in 2006. They are located in six former farm bourgeois houses that were converted for this purpose. The construction of the Westfalen Culinarium was funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). The museum is run by a municipal GmbH.

The history, production, cultural background and culinary specialties of the five Westphalian staple foods bread, cheese, ham, beer and schnapps are clearly presented on a total of 3000 m² of exhibition space .

As an innovative tourism project , the Westfalen Culinarium received the German Tourism Prize 2006.
