White Noise Music (WNM) is the former name of a production studio and record label that was founded in 2007 and published German and English-language productions in the fields of hip-hop , RnB and pop . The company has been called medienproduktion 2.0 since 2016 and is active in the areas of audio and film production, design and marketing.

The label was founded by Tobias Obentheuer, Stephan Stridde (drummer and music manager) and Alexander Frey (sound engineer and producer) and was initially based in Westhofen with a production company and sound studio . After the first productions, Alexander Frey left at the end of 2007.

In 2008 the first releases of Eric Redd (Across the Water) on the US market and DeLaTone (Soulmusique) on the German market followed. Stylistically, the first works are in the RnB, Soul and Hip-Hop areas. The Rap -Newcomer Herry & Madd signed August 2008 its contract with WNM.

In 2009 the former participant of the television program Deutschland sucht den Superstar Benny Kieckhäben published his first English-language pop single Traveling on WNM. The electronic pop production for Benny Kieckhäben was the label's first commercial CD. The circle of artists expanded to include Christoph Weinbach and Lisa Bund . In 2010, the album Abgefahren von Herry & Madd, Chapter I of the WNM sampler, as well as the new edition of DeLaTone's Was ihr geht released. Chapter I offered a comprehensive review of previous productions. In the summer of 2010, the collaboration with Benny Kieckhäben, Lisa Bund and DeLaTone ended. A solo album that the former DeLatone singer Dinea had begun was not completed; WNM and Dinea separated in 2011.

In 2011 WNM shot the first official image film in cooperation with “filmproduktion rhein-main” from Mainz. The company's own studio worked for various bands in the Rhine-Neckar area and expanded the service area to include film music and film scoring. Furthermore, the band Cat-C (rown) was signed.

From 2012 to 2013 WNM produced albums for various bands such as Stereoswitch, the Döftels, 1MP, Fido Vagash, Squared Circles, Brisa Sur, Duo Wormez, Cat Crown and many more. finished. For MCM Fantertainment, who meanwhile had signed Benny Kieckhäben, his second single A Little Courage was written and produced.

In December 2013, Tobias Obentheuer parted ways with Stephan Stridde, who was previously a partner in WNM GbR. After the dissolution, Obentheuer took over the studio and the label began to build a new studio in Eich, Rhineland-Palatinate.

In 2014 and 2015 visual productions were added to the audio. At the beginning of 2016, the name and logo were adapted to the current area of ​​responsibility. The abbreviation WNM became “media production 2.0”. The studio was expanded to include additional work and editing stations in the areas of video, photo and marketing.
