The Whitney Boomerang DW200 is a trainer aircraft from the Australian manufacturer Dean-Wilson Aviation Ltd.
History and construction
The Whitney Boomerang DW200 is a two-seater low-wing aircraft with a fixed nose wheel landing gear, conventional tail unit and completely metal cladding. The machine was developed by Dean-Wilson Aviation as a two-seat trainer aircraft, whereby it is designed as a cost-effective alternative to the Cessna 152 and Piper PA-38 and is also approved for instrument flight. The aircraft is powered by a Lycoming O-235 .
