Winnipeg Folk Festival
The Winnipeg Folk Festival is a music event in Birds Hill Provincial Park outside the city of Winnipeg , Canada .
Originally, the festival was intended for the 100th anniversary of Winnipeg, but has since grown into a major event that attracts 55,000 musicians and guests from around the world. It is held annually in the second week of July from Thursday to Friday. Many different styles of music are presented by international as well as local musicians.
