The Wotquenne directory is a catalog raisonné of the works of Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach compiled by Alfred Wotquenne , which was first published in 1905 under the title Catalog thématique des œuvres de Charles Philippe Emmanuel Bach (1714–1788) . The directory is abbreviated as Wq . To this day, information on works by CPE Bach often refers to the corresponding entry in the Wotquenne directory using the abbreviation Wq and a following number.
