Woof - The dog magazine is a German-language general-interest magazine for dog owners and enthusiasts alike. It covers the spectrum of practical dog keeping, supplemented by general news and reports. Fixed categories are animal health, behavior and education tips, buying and raising dogs, as well as a readers' forum and a larger advertising section. Special recurring contributions are a rattle dictionary, home stories about prominent dog owners and the free choice of the mixed breed champion of the month.

The magazine has existed since 1995 and appears annually in 10 issues (monthly / two double issues). It originally comes from Austria and has a circulation of 31,000 there. For Germany there is an edition with its own regional news and report section, which has a circulation of 34,000 copies (as of January 1, 2008). Wuff is published by the Austrian Petmedia publishing company in Maria-Anzbach in Lower Austria, the German editorial office is in Flensburg . The issues are available by subscription or in newsagents and supermarkets throughout Austria and Germany.
