Xanga is an association founded in 1998 American blog - hosting service . The service was one of the first weblog providers to launch publicly in November 2010; before that, the service was in non-public alpha in 1999 and beta in 2000 . The service took on a pioneering role. In September 2013, Xanga 2.0 was introduced with new functions that are supposed to enable easier operation and the download of blog archives. A new server system should be installed in October because several DDoS attacks disrupted operations. At the beginning of 2015, the servers were stable and the service should be better usable on mobile devices.
