Young for an independent and neutral Switzerland
Young for an independent and neutral Switzerland (JUNS, until approx. 2013: Young4FUN.ch ) is a youth policy association active in Switzerland with a right-wing conservative orientation. The organization deals with issues relating to the Swiss armed forces and Switzerland's foreign policy . Young4FUN.ch is formally independent of parties, but is de facto a representative of the interests of the JSVP / SVP : The key positions are exclusively in the hands of JSVP or SVP members. The association is comparable to the AUNS as a representative of the interests of the SVP.
In French-speaking Switzerland , the organization is called the Association des jeunes pour l'indépendance de la Suisse (AJIS).
Origin and name
The association was founded in 2001 and has around 1600 members. The association emerged from the voting committee «Young people against the bilateral agreements», which unsuccessfully tried to prevent the signing of the bilateral agreements I in 1999 . Young4FUN.ch stands for "Young for freedom, independence and neutrality Switzerland".
Political classification
The association is right - wing conservative . The association works against Switzerland's closer ties to supranational organizations such as the UN , NATO and the European Union . According to its own statements, the association advocates the participation of the people in foreign policy matters (keywords: bilateral agreements I and II , Schengen / Dublin ). With the participation in the referendum against the Military Law Army XXI , the association has also got involved in the security policy debate. Some of the members are also active in domestic politics. Some of them hold cantonal or local parliamentary seats and / or hold positions in other political associations. Young4FUN.ch members are often also members of the SVP or the Young Party JSVP .

The association is organized into six supra-cantonal regions with the aim of ensuring that it is anchored in the region, which is important in coordination campaigns. The day-to-day political leadership lies with a twenty-person board of directors (three co-presidents, general secretary, treasurer, advertising officer, regional manager and others). Young4FUN.ch is a member of the European Alliance of EU-critical Movements . St. Gallen SVP National Councilor Lukas Reimann is co-president of the association .
The official club newspaper is Free Switzerland .
activities
One focus of the activities of Young4FUN.ch is engagement in voting battles. The members also take part in signature collections, stand and flyer distribution campaigns and demonstrations (e.g. in 2002 in the debate about Switzerland's accession to the UN ).
