The old Spanish field measure Yugada , also Zugada , had different values ​​in the Spanish provinces. Its division into smaller units was essentially the same, namely was

  • 1 yugada = 50 fanegas

The Fanega had 576 square estadales, equivalent to 64,256 ares. Fanegas also had a second value when used as a liquid measure.

The Yugada was not used to measure vineyards. Only the aranzada (48,400 square feet) was allowed.
