Centralization or centralization stands for:

  • in the economy the combination of similar or similar tasks centralization (economics)
  • in algebra the search for a subset with certain properties, see centralizer
  • political endeavor to concentrate state competences with a central supreme authority, see centralism
  • Concentrating spatial planning processes, economic and social factors in large cities and towns, the opposite of regionalization. see centralization (spatial planning)
