Zkara

The Zkara , Zekara or Zakara ( Arabic الذكرة, DMG aḏ-Ḏakara ; Moroccan Tamazight ⵉⵎⴰⵢⴻⵏ ) are a Zanata tribe of Berber origin.

The Zkara are resident in northeastern Morocco . They live 25 kilometers southwest of Oujda in the municipality of Mestferki . This means that they do not live far from the border with Algeria . They are said to have Christian roots.

According to the Joshua Project , the Zekara have a population of 75,000.
