Sopot Newspaper
The Zoppoter Zeitung was a daily newspaper in German for the area of the city of Sopot .
The newspaper was founded on May 1, 1894 (in the handbook of the German daily press in 1896). It was published in Sopot by the Börner & Gutsche publishing house. The address of the publisher and printer was 62 Seestrasse in Sopot.
In 1937 the newspaper had a circulation of around 4,000 and a length of 8 to 10 pages. It appeared six times a week. The newspaper had an information supplement for film and radio, a women’s and car supplement, and an entertainment supplement called beach thistle .
After the NSDAP came to power in 1933, the newspaper took over the positions of the National Socialists.
