Martin-Hou's equation of state

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The equation of state of Martin-Hou is an equation of state for real gases .

The equation is

are there

  • - coefficients
  • - coefficients
  • - Counter variable or index or number
  • - is the pressure in [kPa (abs)]
  • - specific gas constant in [J / (kg K)]
  • - is the absolute temperature in [K]
  • - temperature at the critical point in [K]
  • - specific volume of the superheated steam in [m³ / kg]

The equation can be used in different systems of units (e.g. SI or IP ), so it is important to ensure that the correct coefficients are used for the equation. It is also a numerical equation , so you have to consider using the variables without units.
