  • At the beginning of the year: Marcus Agrippa sails across the Ionian Sea , conquers the Methone naval base , drives the crew of Mark Antony from the island of Corfu and enables Octavian to arrive unhindered by employing Antony's armed forces with the main army of 80,000 soldiers and 12,000 riders to land on the Greek coast and reach Toryne in Epirus in a few days . You are now trying successfully to enclose the majority of the enemy ships that are gathered in the not far away Ambracian Gulf near the Greek port city of Actium .
