The AEGON International 2012 was a tennis tournament, which is from 18 to 23 June 2012 in Eastbourne has taken place. It was part of the ATP World Tour 2012 and was played on grass. In the same week the UNICEF Open was played in 's-Hertogenbosch , which, like the AEGON International, belonged to the ATP World Tour 250 category .

The defending champion in the singles was Andreas Seppi , who was defeated by Andy Roddick in the final this year .

Jonathan Erlich and Andy Ram defended their title in doubles, but were eliminated in the quarterfinals. Colin Fleming and Ross Hutchins , who were seeded in third place, clearly won the all-British final 6: 4, 6: 3 against Jamie Delgado and Ken Skupski .

The field of participants in the single competition consisted of 28 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 16 pairs. The four top seeded players in the singles each received a bye into the second round. The prize money was 403,950 euros, the total commitments amounted to 455,700 euros.

qualification

The qualification took place from June 16-18, 2012. Four qualifying places were played, which entitle them to participate in the main draw of the tournament.
