Ajay Bhatt
Ajay Bhatt (born September 6, 1957 in Vadodara , Gujarat , India ) is an Indian- American computer scientist .
Life
Bhatt studied computer science at the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda in Vadodara and then at the City University of New York and works for the US company Intel . Bhatt was instrumental in developing the Accelerated Graphics Port , PCI Express and Universal Serial Bus (USB).
In 2013 he received the European Inventor Award in the “Non-European Invention” category for the development of the Universal Serial Bus. Bhatt lives in Oregon .
