Alexandra Kubasta (born February 15, 1986 in Augsburg ) is a former German handball player .

Career

Alexandra Kubasta began playing handball as a child at TSG Augsburg 85 , with which she was twice Bavarian B youth champion. Via TSV Haunstetten Augsburg and HG Quelle Fürth , she came to 1. FC Nürnberg , for which she played in the handball Bundesliga from 2007 . She played for 1. FCN in the EHF Champions League and won the German championship with the Nuremberg women in 2008 . After her contract in Nuremberg was not extended due to financial problems of the club, she joined the second division TuS Metzingen for the 2008/09 season . With the TuSsies , the 1.71 meter tall backcourt player , who also played on the right winger , rose to the first division in 2012. After the 2015/16 season, she ended her Bundesliga career.
